“Live Free Live Righteous” is envisioned to be a community concert event supporting positive social values such as, anti-racism, anti-hate, anti-bullying and gender and sexual equality. “Live Free Live Righteous” is a concert event where Thunder Bay and area community members can come together and promote these values. It is the goal of “Live Free Live Righteous” to encourage positive social growth and promote the values of equality, respect and diversity. 

“Live Free Live Righteous” is meant as an affirmation to those who believe in living a life which advocates positive social growth and values. This declaration acts as a life code by those willing to accept it to Live life Free of the negative constraints placed by others and to Live Righteously, promoting these values for others.

‘Live Free Live Righteous’ is a non-profit, single day, EDM music concert being held on Sunday, September 4, 2016. The concert location is Fort William Historical Park in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The summer of 2015 marked the first inaugural “Live Free Live Righteous” Concert in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The first concert received an incredible reception from the attendees and in the process broke the forecasted attendance figures.

Envisioned by Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation (LDMLFN), “Live Free Live Righteous” is meant to act first and foremost as a driving force for positive social development in the Thunder Bay community. It is the goal of “Live Free Live Righteous” to encourage positive social growth in our community and promote the values of equality, diversity and respect.

To maximize the benefits for the community, a portion of the revenue generated from the ticket sales of “Live Free Live Righteous” will go to support the local charity, ‘Big Brothers Big Sisters of Thunder Bay.’

With some of the industry’s top EDM artists, this year’s highly anticipated line up will not disappoint. ‘Live Free Live Righteous’ is fast becoming one of the region’s most popular and most prolific summer events. A 19+ After Party at Rockhouse nightclub with Grandtheft and Cheat Codes is being held immediately following the concert.

Live Free Live Righteous Festival

Fort William Historical Park , 1350 King Rd,, Thunder Bay

On Sunday, August 23rd 2015, Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation will have the opportunity to present the following electronic music artists as the lineup for “Live Free Live Righteous”:

A Tribe Called Red Keys N Krates Sydney Blu D.O.D. Classic Roots Blacksheep

The show will take place at the Fort William Historical Park with doors opening at 4:00 P.M., with the show to be completed at approximately 11:00 P.M.

Parking will be available at the Fort William Historical Park. The parking fee is $2.00 with the proceeds going to support the Metis Nation of Ontario.

There will be several food and beverage vendors selling food and drinks for the attendees. The ‘Outland’ tent will be selling refreshments with the proceeds going to support a local social advocacy group.

This is a non-alcoholic event. There is not an age requirement for attendance. Admission is free.

Shuttle Service will be available between the Fort William Historical Park and the Arthur Street Marketplace Mall (1100 Arthur St. W.) Just park your vehicle or meet up in the Thunder Bay Mall parking lot and Iron Range bus service will transport you and your friends to the show. The shuttle will run prior to, during, and after the show.
